Made to measure

These are my original designs that are made to order, to your specific measurements. Scroll down to browse the designs. Click the button to order. Lead time is approximately 2 weeks from payment.

Each garment is shown as the basic pattern, and as it looks made up in a couple of different fabrics. Some of these are available to order where I can get more of the fabric, others are true one-offs where the sample has been made from a remnant or vintage fabric. Take a look at the shop (coming soon!) to see unique garments available to buy off-the-peg.

Jumpsuits

An all-in-one garment that fits you perfectly is a tricky thing to find off-the-peg – definitely one to have made-to-measure. There are a few designs here: all of these are customisable as part of your order.

Top Gun Jumpsuit

From £350

With classic workwear detailing, this tailored jumpsuit has a hint of masculine style. Can be made up with longer sleeves and in heavier-weight fabrics for winter, or something light and short-sleeved for summer. Zip or button front. Shown here in a lightweight linen.

Playboy Jumpsuit

From £300

A summer playsuit with short sleeves and shorts. Cutaway pockets at front and patch pockets at back. Shown here in linen with contrasting details on yoke, collar, breast pocket and roll-ups. Can be made with a zip or button down front.

Shirts

When there are so many fabulous textiles out there, the limited range of shirts on the high street always surprises me. Why be dull? Have a shirt made up in any fabric you choose.

Slim-fit shirt

From £160

A gently fitted shirt, with collar, cuffs, yoked back and breast pocket. Can be made more or less close-fitting depending on your preference. Shown here in a couple of different linens.

Oversized shirt

From £170

A loose, oversized shirt, which sits slightly off the shoulders. Can be worn as a shirt or thrown over a t-shirt for extra layers. Double breast pockets with button flaps, cuffs and collar. Shown here in a lovely soft gingham linen.

Collarless shirt

From £100

A loose fitting summer shirt with minimalist detailing. Off the shoulder sleeves and a rounded collarless neckline. Made up here in a vintage green cotton.

Short-sleeved shirt

From £120

A slim-fit summer shirt with Nehru collar, half opening front with placket, mid-length sleeves, and a pleat in the back for a little extra movement. Made up here in vintage metis (half cotton/ half linen) fabric.

Trousers

All of my trousers are designed to be comfortable in natural non-stretch fabrics, taking inspiration from some classic shapes and styles.

Balloon-leg slacks

From £250

An homage to the iconic Willi Smith, and my take on the tailored/voluminous shape that was such an 80s staple. Pleats and darts at the waist and a taper towards the ankle create an elegant shape. Discreet pockets on the hips and one welt pocket at the back. Turn ups at the ankle. Shown here in a midweight tan linen.

Slim fit chinos

From £250

Not too skinny, not too baggy. These are tailored to fit you without the need for stretch fabrics. Cutaway pockets at the front and welt pockets at the back. Shown here in pink sanded cotton twill.

Shorty shorts

From £100

Fitted shorts with workwear detailing: belt loops, button or zip fly, cutaway pockets at the front and patch pockets at the back. Shown here made up in a fab vintage cotton remnant called ‘Cha Cha Cha’! I almost certainly can’t get this again – on the other hand there’s no shortage of amazing vintage remnants out there, and shorts is the perfect thing to make when you only have half a metre of something special.

Jackets and coats

Classic workwear jacket

From £300

A loose-fitting jacket with classic workwear detailing: patch pockets, loose fit sleeves and a rounded collar. Can be lined or unlined depending on the season. Shown here in a blue cotton twill, with Kaffe Fassett striped cotton lining.

Midsummer jacket

From £175

Unlined jacket with patch pockets and an elegant shawl collar. Perfect lightweight coat for an English summer. Facings on collar and cuffs can be done in a contrasting fabric. Shown here in a vintage floral cotton.

How it works

Contact me using the ‘order now’ button or email me directly with the name of the garment in the subject line. I will take some measurements from you, depending on the garment in question, and we can discuss fabrics and other specifications. This may make a difference to the final price: the prices above are an estimate only. The lead time for making up garments is approximately 2 weeks from payment.

Why made to order?

Making garments to order has a number of benefits for you and the planet. You can have exactly what you want, made to fit you just right. It reduces waste through not having lots of unsold stock. Having a garment that has been made just for you will hopefully mean you keep it for longer, reducing the number of garments sent to landfill. It also means we can dispense with stretch (aka synthetics) and make tailored and fitted garments from 100% natural fibres.
